Linear Technology Corporation Has Launched A New Three-Way Power Supply Voltage Monitor Using SOT-23
Linear Technology Corporation has launched the LTC1728H-5, a tiny, accurate 3-channel supply voltage monitor that is guaranteed to operate over the -40 ° C to 125 ° C temperature range. Ltc1728h-5 monitors 5V, 3.3V, and an adjustable jump threshold set by an external resistor divider network allow users flexibly monitor the voltage low to 1V. LTC1728 is encapsulated by the slim 5 lead sot-23, which is the smallest three-way power monitor in the existing device. Ltc1728h-5 only draws the current of 10uA (typical value) from the monitored power source, which can be used as a low-power and reliable solution for high temperatures and space-constrained applications.
The LTC1728 features accurate 1.5% threshold accuracy and can be reset with such accuracy, reducing the total voltage margin required to achieve reliable system operation. This feature plus power interference filtering ensures a predictable and error-free reset operation. Linear Technology Corporation's entire two-way, three-way, four-way, six-way and eight-way power monitor series have power interference filtering. Whenever one of the three monitored voltages drops below their threshold, the common open-drain reset output is asserted and held low until all three supplies meet the requirements for at least 200ms.
